As promised, here are some photos of the actual print:
The main image (the line drawing in black) was silk-screened onto to paper that I had already hand colored with gold paint and black ink. Additionally I hand-painted the colors on the head using gouache.
Here is a digital mock-up of a silk screen print I just made:
I will add a photo of the actual print itself soon!
Incidentally, this image is actually taken from series of paintings I have been working on for the last several months, which I hope to show in their completion this summer.
Sorry it’s been a long time folks. Been really busy working on a series of 25+ large illustrations for the last few months, and traveling to the Antipodes. Will be very busy for a few more months painting all of these drawings, but will be sure to post when I am done.

Ok, I have been neglectful of this blog for quite some time. Ironically I have been very productive, thanks to the new studio in my life. Drawings are being drawn and paintings are being painted. Soon silkscreens will be printed as well. Many thanks to Logan for helping me out with this. I will be posting the fruits of my labor as the year draws to a close.
**Just one little preview, above. it’s a little sketch belonging to a series of paintings I am working on right now! (Sorry for the crappy quality. I used my cell phone camera.)
Here are some poster designs I made, as part of a proposal for San Francisco’s Art in Storefronts project. My idea was to hand craft silk-screened posters to represent members of my community, when asked what they did to restore themselves or their neighborhood.
I didn’t get in, but I had fun coming up with these designs….
